- Sch 80+ PVC & CPVC CTS Fit: Designed for Sch 80 PVC pipe or compatible PVC pipe with Sch 80-level wall thickness or thicker in 1/2" and 3/4" sizes. Minimum wall thickness reference: 1/2" ≥ 0.147", 3/4" ≥ 0.154". For CPVC CTS, use only on compatible fittings with enough wall thickness to support threading. Not for metal pipe, Sch 40 PVC, SDR, or thin-wall pipe.
- Internal & External Threading: The integrated cutter design helps cut, refresh, or clean up usable internal and external threads on compatible repair points, helping improve fit when repairing pipe ends or fitting connections.
- Spring-Ball Hex Shanks for Tool-Head Stability: Includes two 50 mm drill-compatible hex shanks with spring-ball ends. The spring-loaded ball helps secure the threader head to the shank, reducing looseness and improving control during use.
- Solid Metal Cutter Construction: Built with solid metal cutters for Sch 80+ PVC pipe and compatible CPVC CTS fitting connection repair. Clean cutting edges help support steady cutting performance when used with proper setup, alignment, and low-speed operation.
- Controlled Low-Speed Operation: Attach to a compatible drill, secure the pipe or fitting in a bench vise, keep the cutter aligned with the pipe end or fitting opening, and thread slowly at low speed for better control and cleaner repair results.
