The water flows through the media layers to filter water and ensure a clean aquatic condition. Each layer has a sponge to hold it in place, and it comes with ceramic rings and bio-balls. Friendly Note: Tested flow rates are under no-load conditions and will decrease with filter use and height differences.
- Silent Operation: Equipped with pure copper brushless motor, the filter operates extremely quietly. There is no air inside the filter, ensuring low power consumption and high flow rate without any noise. The sound level is less than 50 decibels, so your home life wont be disturbed, while still achieving effective water purification.
- User-Friendly: The UV lamp has a timer upgrade, allowing for automatic on/off settings at 4/8/24-hour intervals. It also features a flow adjustment valve to regulate water flow from maximum to minimum, and even shut it off completely if desired. The dual quick-release head design makes cleaning and maintenance a breeze, and the inlet has an oil film removal feature to ensure ample oxygen in the fish tank.
