- For first-time use, after setting the automatic mode, if the system is running, please switch to manual mode to turn it off first, then turn it back on. After turning it on, switch back to automatic mode to activate the built-in program and ensure proper operation. Just follow the above steps to set it up once, and you can use it normally afterwards. - Things to Note Before Purchase --(1)The motorized valve may make a soft sound when turning on/off — this is normal; (2)Soak the diffuser in your aquarium for 24 hours before use. If bubbles arent released right away, wait briefly due to low initial air pressure. If problems continue, check tube connections for leaks; (3)The motorized valve is not waterproof; (4) Baking soda and citric acid need to be purchased separately.
