  • Multifunctional Rolling Mill: The rolling mill come with extensions that allow extra half round rollers to be added to the side of the mill. These extension rollers increase flexibility, enabling the rolling mill to be adapted as needed. Jewelers who use a flat mill to work with sheet and who only occasionally need to roll wire will benefit from a rolling mill with wide flat rollers and side extension rollers that can be used for 1/2 round wire
  • Metal Sheet Rolling: When using a rolling mill, the sheet should be supported in one hand, whilst the other turns the handle, thus drawing the sheet through the rollers. The sheet should be caught as it comes through, and its thickness checked using a vernier/calliper. Then, using a rolling mill machine again, re-roll your sheet to achieve the required thickness (Note: 110mm wide flat rolling area)
  • D-Shape Wire Forming: Side extension rolllers with D-shape channels allow D-shape wire (Half-round ) to be formed, and follow similar principles as shaping. The wire is fed through the D-shape section rollers and, once it has passed through, the thickness can then be checked. If it is not of the required thickness, simply repeat the process until complete (Note: Total 9 half round grooves)
  • Patterns Textures Printing: In addition to being used to reduce the thickness of sheet metal and wire, the rolling mill can be used for a variety of other tasks, including printing textures and patterns on sheet metal and rolling thin gold foil for folding and forming.A must tool for learning the “roller printing” technique for imprinting patterns and textures on metal and the “fold forming” technique for creating fine shapes on sheet metal
  • 6:1 Reduction Gear Ratio: Reduction gear mills have a gear ratio of 6:1, requiring six turns of the handle for the rolls to complete a single rotation. Although the handle must be turned several times to rotate the rolls, much less force is required, reducing the amount of physical effort needed to feed metal through the mill.
