This is a big issue in acetal homopolymers. Acetal copolymers naturally have lower centerline porosity but with an excellent manufacturing process, it is possible to achieve zero centerline porosity, preventing outgassing and water penetration
- HIGHLY MACHINABLE - Aside from machining on a lathe, acetal copolymers are easy to cut using power saws and easy to sand using power sanders. As it can withstand high temperatures, this material wont become gummy during the machining process. You can use lathes, milling machines, CNC router systems, drill press, miter saws, band saws, and even hand saws!
