- 35 is Scotchs product number or SKU for the colored rolls of tape. 33+ is their SKU for the black rolls. They also offer electrical tape SKUs such as 22 and 88.
- Scotch Color Coding Electrical Tape is a premium grade, 7-mil thick electrical insulating tape. Each roll is either 1/2 inch wide x 20 feet long or 3/4 inch wide x 66 feet long depending on the pack purchased.
- Flame-retardant, weather-resistant; resists UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalies, solvents, many acids. For indoor and weather-protected outdoor applications. Stretches to conform to virtually any shape that requires color-coded insulation. Outstanding electrical and mechanical properties make 3M 35 is excellent for use in phase identification, color coding of motor leads and piping systems, and for marking safety areas.
- One of each of 9 colors comes in each set. Colors include blue, brown, green, grey, orange, red, violet, white and yellow (the 8-pack leaves out the grey). The 3-pack contains black, white and red.
- Standards Met: UL Listed, CSA Approved, VDE 0340-TEIL1. Carrier/Backing: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film. Adhesive: rubber resin. Thickness: 7 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 20 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 17 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Dielectric Breakdown: 8750 volts. Service/Operating Temperature: 0F to 176F. Elongation: 225%. Core: 1-1/2-inch diameter.
