- Ideal for hobbies and crafts - the Tiger 2000S. The grinder with precious corundum whetstone and universal grinding device 70 delivers professional results even for non-professionals. A quiet 120 watt induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration work. The whetstone is constantly cooled in a water bath and prevents the tool from heating up during grinding. The right grinding technology needs to be learned - or it is already in the grinder. Without practice and experience, it can easily come to costly mistakes when sharpening high quality and expensive tools. With the wet grinding system Tiger 2000S from Scheppach even beginners achieve first-class and professional, i.e. razor-sharp results. This grinder has a circular whetstone that runs at low speed in the water bath and is therefore continuously cooled, prevents the tool from losing its hardness by annealing. This is the only way to get a lasting cut. The high smoothness of the whetstone with a speed of 120 min-1 also contributes to this. The shatterproof water tank ensures that the workbench stays dry. The special precious corundum whetstone with aluminium oxide has a diameter of 200 mm and a thickness of 40 mm. It is part of the standard equipment of the Tiger 2000S. The K 220 grit delivers perfect grinding results even with hard steel over 60 HRC (tool steel). Using the angle gauge, the grinding angle can be adjusted correctly. Straight blades can be sharpened optimally. Errors due to incorrect angles can be prevented more easily. The universal grinding device 70 keeps the workpiece at the correct angle when grinding. This prevents slipping and the formation of edges. With the additional leather grinding disc of the Tiger 2000S wet grinding machine, burrs can be removed after grinding. The leather is easily removable and replaceable.
