- Compared to the Pro 4, the Pro 5 hub features reduced drag on the drive mechanism by upgrading the sealing with a new zero-drag labyrinth seal and an improved pawl and ratchet system, featuring new springs. Both of these greatly reduce drag and increase durability and load capacity compared to the Pro 4. Utilizing a 6-pawl freehub design, where 3 pawls are engaged at any one time and at increased POE (now 108), Hope was able to strike the right balance between take-up speed, load capacity, drag and durability, and in real-world terms it gives a snappy feel on the trail while keeping rear ank motion at an acceptable table level without compromising the freewheel operation of the hub or its reliability - International standard 6-bolt/1.732 in-BCD disc mounting dimensions - HG 8-11sp: Not compatible with HG 11sp road cassettes
